Microservices

14:20—15:00. Internet technologies

Nowadays it is really complicated to find a person who hasn''''t heard anything about microservices. Everyone talks about it, but what is the meaning of "microservices architecture"? A person brave enough believes that it is all about docker containers. Other people will insist that you need to use service fabric or orleans for that.

During my presentation I will focus more on general architecture approach, not tools that you can use for implementing it. I will describe both pros and cons of microservices architecture and I will share some best practices you can follow to split your app by sets of independent microservices.

The big idea behind this presentation is that if we introduce the right architecture approach from the start, we will be able to use any tool we want, like docker, service fabric, orleans, etc.
