Alexey Semenyaka

RIPE NCC

Director of RIPE NCC for External Relations (Eastern Europe and Central Asia). As a member of the team of the External Relations Department, Alexei is working to deepen the interaction of the RIPE NCC with the network community, RIPE NCC member organizations, standards committees, government organizations.

Before joining RIPE NCC, Aleksey worked as executive director of Qrator Labs (a company that investigates connectivity on the Internet and prevented DDoS attacks), and before that he headed the network division at Yandex. He also has experience working in engineering and management positions in the telecom (Megafon, Kronix +) and the enterprise (Ratmir holding, Deutsche Bank), where he took part in the creation of network infrastructure, construction of data centers and the construction of echeloned information security systems.

He was repeatedly invited to local and international conferences as a speaker and an expert in the field of network design and data centers. Currently he is vice-chairman of the ENOG program committee and a member of the RIPE Meeting program committee.
