Enterprise systems are becoming more complex, monolithic, heterogeneous. The volumes of data grow exponentially. Are developers ready for these challenges? I think they are not. Instead of working on serious challenges, developers are chasing new, sparkling frameworks, which makes the situation only worse.

In this report we will talk about the main problems of Enterprise applications, evaluate what (not entirely adequate) solutions the industry offers now and what, in my humble opinion, really needs to be done to cope with these problems.
